After the passing of my grandparents, I saw first hand how knowledge can die with a generation. There are so many questions I wished to have asked, stories I wish I wrote down.

I realized how important it is to document our cultural traditions from the people who hold this knowledge firsthand before it’s too late.

Travelling Jordan, Lebanon, Syria

I am currently conducting in person interviews in Jordan, but with your support, I will be travelling around the Levant.

Returning to Palestine

I am reuniting with my homeland for the first time in my life to embark on this research in Palestine.
